| • | 8 foundation piles (left) - build up in suit from Ace to King. At the start of the game the Aces are dealt here. |
| • | 13 tableau piles (to the right of the foundations) - build down by alternate color. Only one card at a time may be moved. Spaces may be filled by any card. At the start of the game 5 cards are dealt face up to each pile. |
| • | stock (top left, face down) - turn over 1 card at a time to the waste by clicking. No redeals. |
